Acrobat 2020 Classic Aktivierungsproblem - Activation problem

I installed Acrobat 2020 Classic in Windows 11 and updated it to the latest version. When logging in via the window that opens in the browser, the email address is accepted, but after entering the password, the window freezes permanently. However, logging into my account on the Adobe website works perfectly. This problem did not exist about 6 months ago. I do not have any virus scanners or firewalls other than those provided by Windows installed.

Notice of Acrobat 2020 End of Life.

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/faq-acrobat-2020.html

For security reasons, users are urged to replace Acrobat 2020 with a supported product.

MODERN OPTIONS:
==============
FREE Acrobat Reader

FREE Online PDF Editor
https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/pdf-editor.html\

Acrobat (Standard, Pro or Studio)

Hope that helps.

This whole drama is a result of the browser's security settings. After some fiddling around, I've now managed to activate it. Thank you very much for your help.

Hi ina_7487,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

Please try reinstalling the application once. You can install it using the steps suggested below:

-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3KqwjIC).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/3MpKm1C.

Additionally, please refer to the resolution outlined in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3KgWrpe.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

What would change with a new installation? It is the current version, and I had no problems with activation six months ago. The installation link sent to me is called Acrobat Enterprise Term and VIP License. However, I have Adobe 2020 Classic, which is not compatible with this. From the additional information, I gather that there have been some changes to the activation process. As a layman, I don't understand any of this. What should I do now? Please provide step-by-step instructions.

what do you mean by current version?

the last 2020 version from years ago or the current acrobat pro version or something else?
