Acrobat 6.0 upgrade to Acrobat XI?

I have a new copy of Adobe Acrobat 6.0 that has never been used. I would like to install it on Windows 8.1 and upgrade it to Acrobat XI. Is that possible?

no.

you can upgrade from acrobat 9 or x, but not 6:  Buying guide | Adobe Acrobat XI Standard

you can purchase acrobat xi or join adobe cc and use acrobat xi
