When trying to install a Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 30 Day Trial I keep getting the following error 50% of the way through the process, "Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected failure. Please try again. If it continues to fail, contact Adobe support"

uninstall any acrobat and reader versions.

if win os, clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

then restart your computer and retry installing.
