I no longer have access to the computers where the program is activated. What do I do when Adobe won’t help? Adobe “help” says y’all will answer fast. Not sure why they can’t just give the answer or the link to the answer…

Please help? I need acrobat back. [Yes, the license is on the account, but the devices are not...]

    @Jeff_A_Wright For Adobe: I found a new solution, thanks! It turns out any LLM can make and edit pdfs for free. Cheers.

    @Dave Creamer of IDEAS I too was told that an adobe supervisor would be able to remotely deactivate the versions that are on dead computers. Do you have a suggestion for deactivating the devices that are not found in my account perchance? Kind regards, m

    @m3zoo5u

    Adobe Customer Service (Support) no longer has the ability to reset activations. The only way to deactivate or recover an activation is if you can open the program on the computer that you want to deactivate.

    I would be thrilled to deactivate them. Below I gave the history of the old ssd in the new computer, and i don’t have any of the other computers. Apologies i missed the link that says how to deactivate without access to the old computers, tho I do have the old ssd in the new computer.

    Thanks for posting,  @m3zoo5u.

    I apologize for any frustrations you have encountered managing your activations for Acrobat.

    To follow up on @Dave Creamer of IDEAS what verison of Acrobat are you trying to activate? The only copies which I see registered are for Acrobat 10 and they have been activated four times.

    Please see

     for information on how to manage any remaining activations for later versions of Acrobat.

    I got a new computer last year and Acrobat worked on it. The computer died, I just spent the last few months fighting the insurance company, and getting a new computer. The old ssd is now in the new computer. So I’m not sure how to get it to work when the old ssd with Adobe is in the new computer.
