Acrobat Pro 2015 Activation Limit Error - Need Support Assist

Hello, I have a perpetual license of Acrobat Pro (Version 12) registered to my Adobe ID account.

I recently lost my previous computer and couldn't deactivate the software. Now, installing it on my new laptop gives me the "Activation limit reached" error.

I already tried deleting the SLStore/SLCache folders and rebooting, but the same error occurs right after entering the serial number. Since this is an older version, the "Activated devices" section on my Adobe Account page is empty, so I cannot manage it myself.

Could an Adobe staff member please help me reset the activation count for my registered serial number? Thank you.

Sorry, but that can no longer be done.

Activations can’t be reset. The only way to recover an activation is to deactivate properly on an activated computer with up-to-date security so that it can connect to Adobe servers.
