Acrobat XI Pro Installation Fails

I receive the following message when attempting to install Adobe Acrobat XI Pro: Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\Windows\Installer\AcroPro.msi.

    A 1316 error is indicative of a problem with Windows.  You should search Google using "Error 1316" and see what you can find that resembles your situation.  If you continue to have problems you should try pposting in the Acrobat Installation forum: Acrobat Installation & Update Issues

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I found the info I needed to correct the problem and successfully installed Acrobat XI Pro.
