I have  Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 with a serial number. Previous laptop is recycled and now I need to install it on a new pc running same platform, Windows 11. After I installed it on my new computer the login/activation screen appears and says that i reached maximum computers and that i need to deactivate the other computer. The other computer is uninstalled already and I cant see any computers activated at all. Can somebody please help me. Ive talked to Adobe support and the said to raise a ticket here.

you can’t restore an activation without a computer that meets adobe’s security standards AND that has a currently activated copy.  there’s no work-around.

there is a way to repeatedly use your 30 trial but it’s time-consuming and not for novices.

For security reasons as well as compatibility, you really need a supported product.  It’s not safe to use 10-year-old software that receives no security updates. It puts you & your computer at risk.

    Hope that helps.

It’s a user-to-user forum. So there are no tickets here.

What Adobe support meant, is that they can’t manage the 2017 licenses anymore as the product reached the end of its life years ago and activation servers are not maintained anymore. They sent you here because some users on the forums might know workarounds that could help you still enable your license one way or another. I doubt it’s possible and I’m not aware of any ways to revive your license. But if someone has any better advice, they’ll post it here.
