Activate CS2

I have a legal Version of CS2 (Upgrade from 5.5). Activation-Server ist shut down. I found out that I can download a free CS2 which must not be activated. I did. While installing it I had to type my serial number. Than I got the message that the serialnumber is not valid. What can I do?

    You have to use the serial number that is provided for the special version you downloaded.
