Purchased Adobe InDesign CS2 Educational Version around 2006.

Computer Crashed.

Installed the program on my new computer and will not connect to the activation process.

Tried Telephone Activation to no avail!

HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE PROGRAM?

    Hi,

    solution:

Uninstall CS2 version and install a version that does not require activation

"Activation server unavailable" error in Adobe CS2, Acrobat 7, and Audition 3

    Regards,

I have the exact same problem...

What is the direct link to the InDesign CS2 version that does not require activation?

AFAIK, those links have been removed. You'll need to contact Adobe directly.

    Good luck.

If you have a new computer it is impossible to run CS2 now. You have to upgrade to a CC Subscription version.

    Willi,

    Thank you for your reply.

I installed InDesign CS2 and everything worked just fine.

Problem was that I could not Activate the program so after 30 days I

    could not use it.

Perhaps I will just have to uninstall it after 30 days and then

reinstall it for another 30 days.

Unless you're running Windows XP, chances are not good that you'll get this installed and running properly. The chances decrease with 64 bit operating systems, as well.

There is no activation for CS2.

Yeah, definitely out-of-date, you need new software to go with your new hardware!

From the linked article: "Adobe no longer supports CS2 applications, which were released in 2005. Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software."

That's 14 years ago. If you're serious about using the program, I would strongly suggest updating to something newer.

    Uwe,

Does this mean I have to purchase a new version?

Did you read the linked article?

    Follow the described steps.

If you are lucky you will be able to install that special CS2 version on your operating system.

No activation necessary. No purchase necessary.
