Activating A New Computer

I have a license for Adobe Creative Cloud for Mac for two computers. I just bought a new laptop. I followed the instructions to deactivate my old one and then followed the instructions to activate the new one. Creative Cloud asked me to sign in, which I did and it then sent me an activation code on my phone, which I correctly inserted. But then instead of activating the program on my new computer, it asked me to go to my browser and sign in there, I did, it sent me an activation code and accepted it, but then it just keeps asking me to do the same thing all over again. It never really activates the program on my new computer, which is a 14-inch late 2021 MacBook Pro. Can someone tell me why I keep going in this visious circle and it keeps having me do this over and over again and not activating Creative Cloud on my new computer? I'm so frustrated! Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you to the two people who responded to my question. I really appreciate your taking the time to do so. I did restart, but that did not resolve the problem. After a lot of searching online, I found out that Adobe software is not yet fully compatible with the new Apple M1 Pro and Max Chips. So to run Creative Cloud, you must first download and run Adobe's Cleaner Tool on your current software, then download and install Rosetta 2, and finally redownload and install all your Adobe softtware. After I did all that, everything worked fine. But I spent several hours online researching this before I found the answers. I'm posting this in case someone else with a late 2021 MacBook Pro runs into the same problem. I'd love to save someone else all that time trying to figure it out!

Too bad you neglected to mention the important details in your original post - your OS and Apple M1 chip. The solution was here the whole time.

Sorry, Nancy. I didn't realize what computer I was on made a difference at the time. If I ever need help with anything else, I'll remember to post that information. Again, I thank you for responding to my post.

Make sure your computer meets the minimum CPU & GPU requirements. Most Creative Cloud apps work on:

Windows 10 versions 21H2, 21H1, 20H2, 2004, and 1909 (LTSB branches are not supported;)
macOS 12 (Monterey), macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 10.16 or 10.15 (Catalina).

Also use a browser with latest updates that allows cookies and does not have any script blockers like latest Chrome or Firefox.

After installing new software, you usually need to restart the computer.
