I purchased an  adobe photoshop elements 2022 in Oct d 2022 but did not get it activated at that time. Now Adobe does not accept the serial number from my CD envelope. (wrong number of digits). Can I get a new activation code instead to do it belatedly?

In certain purchase situations, your Elements software will require a redemption code to license the software. The redemption code is a 24-digit alphanumeric code.

  • Adobe.com
    • You don’t need a redemption code if you purchased from Adobe.com. Just sign in with your Adobe ID.

  • Amazon or other 3rd party reseller
    • Boxed product - The redemption code and instructions are printed on an insert in the box.
    • Electronic Software Download (ESD) - During your online purchase, you’ll receive a redemption code and instructions from the reseller.
    • Amazon purchase - If you purchased from Amazon, see instructions for retrieving your redemption code.

your activation number consists of 24 numbers (= 6 groups of 4 numbers) and should have been part of your purchase .

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
