Activating CS2

Question

I recently purchased from Ebay a used Premium copy of CS2 including the install disks with serial number. After the installation process I entered the serial number and all seemed to go well until I attempted to activate the software. I tried the online activation several times and each attempt I got a screen message that the software could not be activated because the server was unavailable. I then attempted to use the automated phone activation. There again, after several attempts the phone messaging told me I could not activate the software. Currently the software is available for use, but it will only work for 30 days and I have used three of them trying to figure this out. My hardware is a Mac G5 desktop, 1.8 GHz processor with OSX 10.5.8. Is there any available method to activate this package before the use of it expires?

Will I be able to do this even though I purchased the package from a 3rd party?

This quote comes from the page on your link titled:

"2. Download and install CS2 applications."

"You can use the serial numbers provided as a part of the download only if you legitimately purchased CS2, CS2 applications, Acrobat 7, or Audition 3."
