Activating Photoshop CS6 Mac after deactivating ... local NOT CC ... please, HELP ME!

Because I was both upgrading to the new MacOS ElCapitan, as well as replacing my laptop's internal SSD drive with one that was 5x larger, I deactivated my registered, previously normal working local copy of the stand alone Photoshop CS6 v13.0.6.

Unfortunately, having accomplished all of the above, when I tried to open Photoshop CS6 it wants me to join Creative Cloud which I DO NOT WANT TO DO because I own both Photoshop 6 and Lightroom 6 (both registered to me).

I contacted Adobe Chat support and did everything they asked (2 hours 39 minutes) until they asked if I was still there, and I responded, yes but they still ended my chat session!

Needless to say, Photoshop still only asks me to join Creative Cloud? I get no opportunity to re-activate like I always have in the past with versions 3, 3.5. 4, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, CS3, CS5 and CS6 (all of which were registered to me and all of which were paid upgrades from Adobe?

I saved the chat log. The Adobe chat person suggested that they could delete my ownership to previous versions but I said PLEASE DON'T because all of my stuff is upgrades.

They asked if I had my original disc which I believe I have somewhere but since I haven't had a CD/DVD drive since 2006, I didn't understand how I could use it, anyway? I gave them my already registered list of Photoshop serial numbers ... all $4,000+ of them (and that doesn't include the year of CC at 12 x $25 = $300, during which time not a single useful photo update was released)???

They said they could give me a link to download the installer for Photoshop but never did?

Then they ended the chat?

BTW I am kicking myself for deactivating Photoshop 6 because I couldn't find the deactivate for LR6 and guess what ... it works fine, even though I copied it onto my new SSD drive???

I HATE COPY PROTECTION! I've got about a dozen plug in suites that I will have to re-install and two of the companies are out of business so I will probably loose my favorite plugins if I do have to re-install PS6! I've paid so much for this, already.

BTW I also paid $25 a month for a full year of Creative Cloud. I was told about all of the useful updates I'd get. I got NOTHING. NO USEFUL UPDATES for the simple photography that I do! Adobe's answer was to offer me, no useful updates for only $10 a month??? That's why I decided to get no useful updates for FREE with my already paid for Photoshop CS6. All this is to me, the paying customer, is a lot of harassment!

Is there any way for me to kill the Creative Cloud (hopefully for ever?) on my Mac so I can just deal with my paid for, registered copy of Photoshop 6????????

PLEASE HELP ME, anyone???

I'd call Adobe tech support but there is no number listed anymore? And since their chat just pretends they can't see your typing and ends the chat, I need help to just get PS6 working, again, please!

I am willing to uninstall but only after I get a link to the installer, to begin with or can find it on my Mac? I seem to recall that installers are hidden somewhere, if any one knows where to look?

I tried using my backup copy but I guess the activation is kept on the local system so even though I have good backups they also open asking me to join CC. It is insidious!

It is not clear to me what you are trying to find the installation files for, so the two links below lead to general offerings from which different versions can be found.

    Download and Installation Help -
    https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html

    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html

You can also download the trial version of the software thru the site linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I want to irradiate all traces of Creative Cloud on my Mac. It prevents me for using the actual, on my mac, software that I already own and instead demanding that I quit or join CC! It is maddening to have paid more than $4,000 and still not to be able to use Photoshop???

CC keeps causing problems with my already purchased and registered, Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 6 (Both local, stand alone copies and NOT Creative Cloud).

I need a link to download the trial version of Photoshop PS6 or some other local copy which I can serialize with my current (and registered) license for PS6 (NOT Creative Cloud).

My CD does me no good because I haven't had a CD (or needed one, before this) since 2011 or there about when everything moved into the cloud. That is why I need an installer for PS6. The CC installer does me no good at all.

Adobe no longer lists PS6 installers on their "older software" pages ... ONLY updaters which assume you have it already installed. I installed it following the Adobe support chat that told me to do so then ended the chat.

They also took all of my serial numbers (all dozen of them from Photoshop 3 on up with all of my update serial numbers) and I don't know why since I was logged in and they could see my registration information. I suspect they just stole them for their own use?

I really hate this! I have invested so much time and money into this and now I can't even call Adobe for help (because they've deleted their support number) and are trying to pressure me into paying them even more money for nothing, again!
