Question

Activation for my Adobe Creative suite premier [CS1, CS2, CS3 are dead]

Hello, I just got a new computer and am trying to activate my Adobe CS Premier (Old version).  I have all my information, serial, activation code but can't reload the software on my new computer and am being told "All the activation servers are retire and for more support we have the dedicated team for old application. You can simply visit to https://community.adobe.com/ and put your query there and you will get the answer and response".

Can any one help me to get this software up and running again?

Thanks.

CS1 - 3 are officially dead and gone.  No support is available.  If Customer Care sent you here, I guess they didn't want to give you the bad news.  You need new software.

OPTIONS:

Photoshop or Premier Elements 2020 (approx $100, no subscription needed)

https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html

Creative Cloud Photography Plan (approx $10/month for 1 year subscription)

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html

Creative Cloud All Apps Plan (31 + apps & services)

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html

===================

Beware of fake Adobe reps offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away!  Creative Suite is not legally sold by any vendor, retailer or country.  Adobe ended Creative Suite sales in 2017.

Check eBay for what? You can't get legal copies of any of the Creative Suites anywhere now. Anyone who tries to sell you one is likely a scammer. If you're lucky you'll just lose money; if you're not you can find yourself with a computer full of malware.

If you have CS4-6, your issue may be too many activations for the license. In that situation, go back to Customer Service and tell them you have too many activations and that you need earlier activations removed. This is something they can do, but it is literally the only thing they can do for CS4-6 users.  And as John says, there is no longer any way to activate CS1 through CS3.

If you have CS1 through CS3, you could just keep your old computer for working with them. Otherwise, your choices are to get one or more of the CC products (if you need more than 2, getting the All Applications subscription is usually cheaper) or find non-Adobe alternatives.

Note that while some of the CC applications have contracts that let you pay for a single month of use, most of them require a full year's subscription which can be paid either monthly or upfront and which have large penalties if you cancel early. READ THE TERMS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS LINK!

CS3 and earlier will NOT activate due  to the servers being removed

Nobody, not here and not at Adobe support, will be able to help

You need to contact Adobe directly. Whoever is telling you to ask on the forums it wrong. There is nothing we can do, as we are just regular users like you.
