We upgrade the desktop from Windows 10 to Windows 11 end for some days the Photoshop and Illustrator was working right.

Some days after (I think after changing the computer name) the Photoshop and Illustrator cannot be opened.

Asking for Activation limit.

How can I activate the Adobe CS5 on Windows 11?
From the chat the support suggested to buy a new version because the CS5 is not working on Windows 11.
But as you can see from the above, I could working on Windows 11 before for a while.

Ioannis, thanks for posting and for your long-term use of Creative Suite 5. If you are being repeatedly prompted to reactivate, then you will want to review the settings for any installed security or utility software. Anything that periodically removes the local activation files as part of its cleanup or security activities is likely causing the need to reactivate.

Beyond that, please see https://adobe.ly/49N0mmt for information on how to activate and manage any remaining activations for Creative Suite 5, on Windows 11, in 2026. ^JW

CS5 is very old legacyware built to run on Windows Vista, Win7/8 (none of which exist anymore). 😶

For best results, use software that's compatible with your modern device & systems.  Too many things have changed in 16 years.  Nobody can guarantee long term success with outdated products because  Windows receives new updates every few weeks. Eventually, some things just stop working which is where you are now.
