Activation of CC on second computer...how ?

I have a paid subscription for Photoshop CC 2018 on my iMac and wish to add/activate it on my MacBook but don't know how.  Do not know serial number or redemption code or even where to find such.

A few days ago I entered a chat session with two guys, one after the first one, and they insisted I open my computer completely to them so they could help.  I refused for obvious security reasons and don't see how this would be necessary anyway.

CC works well on my iMac and at least for the present, is working on my Macbook but my Adobe acct. shows only that it is active on my iMac.  I  fear that any day now I'll be asked to pay for the MacBook activation but do not want or need to pay double

Advice please....

Mark

In looking at my plan after signing in to Adobe, it appears that I began paying $9.99/mo back in 2016 then for PS CS-6, which is no longer available but I have been continuing to pay since back then. I don’t know if those payments go toward the new CC or if I’m still paying for CS6. Both versions still work on my desktop computer. Did my subscription to CS6 automatically upgrade to CC 2018? It appears that is what has happened…

When I check on Manage Plan it says I have an order for CC and that it’s active on my Desktop machine.

yes, all cc subscriptions include the latest versions as they are released (now and into the future).  many (but not all) program subscriptions include previous versions (back to cs6) too.  ps includes all versions from cs6 to the latest (which is cc 2018 as of this date but will include more in the future).

install the cc app from here on your 2nd (or more) computer, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

It seems I have another problem in that I presently have a trial version (7 day) on my computer… when I try to install via the link you provided it only offers me to buy now…. Not what I want to do

with the problematic computer:

check your account to verify your subscription is what you expect and to verify your adobe id (used in the next step), https://accounts.adobe.com/

if your account shows

a. your subscription is active,

1.  sign out and then back in to your cc desktop application using the same adobe id above to verify your subscription:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

2.  if that fails, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/stop-creative-cloud-trial-mode-after-purchase.html

3.  if that fails, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-reverts-to-trial.html

4.  if that fails, using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html

if your account shows

b. you have no subscription and you're paying for one

1. using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html
