Activation Server error Golive CS ?

Hi

I needed to know if Golive CS (AKA Golive 7 ) was affected by the server

shutdown and if so what is Adobes' solution for owners of it, CS is not

specifically mentioned on the download page or on the list of affected

products.

But it's older than CS2 and the page in this adobe form thread

http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-act ivation-end-life.html

indicates some older than CS2 , says up top "CS2 or older" products may be affected so I don't know if Golive CS (AKA Golive 7 ) affected or not.

If it's not affected or if it's so old that it's

pre-activation (never required activation) please tell me

If it is affected I need to tell a client what Adobe has done or

what exactly the user needs to do to make their GoliveSHOP CS

(AKA Golive 8 ) product usable again.

Thanks

Frank

GoLive has been dead in the water for 10 years. It's miraculous that anyone still uses it. Short of finding an OEM version that does not require a serial or activation as they were bundled up a lot back then when you rented hosting space I can't think of much.

so has photoshop cs , but adobe provides a free upgrade to the photoshop cs2 dowload for the earlier CS owners effected by the server shutdown, so I was wonderuing if they did the same for Golive CS owners?

Frank I responded to the other message you sent in http://forums.adobe.com/message/4919014#4919014?sdid=KCHDS but just to reiterate GoLive CS did not utilize activation technology.  Only Photoshop CS included that technology from that time period.
