added a user account in OS X, can't access Lightroom without serial #

I added a second user account to my macbook, for my wife.   But, she cannot access lightroom without serializing it again, which doesn't seem right.  

I have LR active on two mac computers, my main work computer and my laptop.  I added this second user account to my laptop for my wife who needs to occasionally access LR.  I was under the assumption that she would be able to access whatever software is installed on my laptop's hard drive from her user account on that laptop... without the obligation to purchase another copy of that software.  But it's not working like I assumed that it would work because it's requiring a serial number.

Is there a way to access the program from this new user's account?
