Adobe Acrobat Standard DC - PDF Issue After Download - Brower vs. Acrobat

I have a licensed version of Acobat Standard DC. When I download files from the net to my Windows 10 PC and click on the file, it opens in my browser. Once I download it, I don't want to have to save it on my PC in order for it to open in Acrobat. I simply want to be able to have it above my task bar to click, open, edit, and do what I need to. Is this possible without having to jump through hoops? It seems I have to save it, find the file location, edit the file, resave it, etc. Why does it open directly in the browser once downloaded? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I use this for business purposes.

Same here.

Disable the setting in Chrome to use Chrome to open PDFs and change the Acrobat preference for Acrobat to open PDFs rather than browsers and that will work. Have you done those steps? Do they work for you?

Which browser are you using?

There are Preference settings in Acrobat and the browsers for PDFs to open in Acrobat instead of your browser

Display PDF in browser Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat Reader
