Hi all.

When I try to update Adobe After effects cc, it says updates have been suppressed by administrators. I tried deleting the AdobeAdminPrefs.dat file, but the problem kept coming up. PLZ HELP!

    Manually following the path

    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat

And deleting that .dat file did it for me.

I then started up a CC program and looked under the help menu on the Nav bar at the the top (mac). Clicked the update link and things started happening. Finally!

Well, if your admin doesn't want you to update and has limited your user privileges then this is nothing anyone can circumvent. If you think this is not the way it's meant to be, you have to provide proper technical info, which you haven't done so far.
