Adobe Application Manager not seeing what installed.

Adobe Application manager is not seeing what's installed on my computer.  It says Acrobat XI is "up to date" when in fact it's not even installed on my computer.  I had to uninstall X when it kept crashing and have been using IX for the last year.  I'd like to install XI since I'm paying for it, but can't see how to reinstall it from Applicaiton manager, is there some trick?

    Hi Steven,

Run the Cleaner tool to remove all the remnants of the previous installations and re-install Adobe Application Manager. You can download the Acrobat Cleaner Tool from the below link:

    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Make sure that you select the right options while using Cleaner Tool to uninstall only Acrobat 11 and not the previous versions.

    Hey Steven William Steiner,

Not Sure if the above solution resolved the issue, but if you just rename the "Caps" to "Caps.old" folder in Adobe, you can install again.

    Location of the folder - C:\program files(x86)/common files/adobe/caps

    and on Mac - /Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps

    Cheers!
