Adobe Application Manager's repetitive failures

As a subscriber I'm getting pretty sick and tired of Adobe Application Manager telling me there are updates then wasting my time downloading stuff that fails.  Current failure is error U43M1D207 which means nothing to me.  I expect an application manager to do what it is supposed to do (with all the authority etc).  HELP!
