I've not tried the updates with Mac OS X 10.8.2 in a couple of days, but this is the last set of failures that I had, and have posted here, and had a chat session with an Adobe rep on the issue, with no solution other than...

Maybe it will be fixed... perhaps CS7 will fix it... I was given a bug report number, but that seems to be for a bug with installing Adobe Extension Manager, which part of the process with the Adobe Rep was to throw away my installed AEM, and now I can't install 6.0.4, or update to 6.05...

This is the brief out line of what happened to me...

    1) Premiere Pro CS6 emitted a 'serious error' dialog whenever I attempted to play any media, only tested with an AVCHD type camera, a sony 'cheap' camera....

    2) Eventually decided to uninstall and reinstall CS6 Premiere.

    3) Used 'Adobe Cleaner' to remove any traces of the previous CS6 Premiere.

    4) Successfully installed CS6 PP.

    5) Noticed 'updates available' for not only the just reinstalled PP, but Photoshop and After Effects.

    6) While ( Failure )

         {

                   Uninstalled CS6 in its entirety.

                   Reinstall CS6 After Effects.

                   Attempt Update.

                   Failure.

Update from downloaded versions of packages.

                   Failure.

                   Run Adobe Log Analyzer.

Note that Log Analyzer found no problems to report.

Post increasingly sarcastic posts to various blogs about problem.

Initiated a chat with Adobe Representative.

Threw away preferences, Created new Admin account, etc. Based on Rep Recommendations.

                   Sent error logs.

Eventually broke installation even further, based on Reps recommendations.

         }

At the moment I am somewhat convinced that Mac OS is not a 'valued' platform for Adobe products any longer. I have read other reports of problems of stability of the applications on Mac OS 10.8.x and even for my self my 'backup' machine an aging Apple with Mac OS X 10.6.8 has correctly updated the specific Apps that I use from my Cloud Subpscription. Since that machine is only used  in case my bright shinny new machine failes for some reason, I would hate to have to wait hours for renders, hours for loading up... and reexperience all the reasons why I had bought a new machine to correct.

Here's the list of currently unupgradable Adobe Apps.

    Photoshop 13.1.2 for Creative Cloud

    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

    Adobe SpeedGrade CS6 6.0.4 Update

    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

Adobe After Effects CS6 11.0.2 Update

    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

    Photoshop Camera Raw 7.3

    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

    Extension Manager 6.0.5 Update

    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

    Adobe Bridge CS6 5.0.2 Update

    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7

The 'error code' is absolutely meaningless... basically it just iterates on the theme of 'beats me lieutenant, the plane just slid off the end of the runway'...

At the moment there are only two apps that have correctly updated:

    Premiere Pro to 6.0.2

    and

    Audition

(can't recall the version level at the moment...)

Please try installing the updates manually from : http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates  and check.
