All does indeed seem to be up to date and these should work together.

I've seen a few reports of iCloud beniog involved in slow downs with Adobe apps. No idea what that's about, but you could try turning off iCloud for a bit to see if things get better.

Ok thanks, I will give it a try with iCloud turning off. Cheers!

Hi Kurt,

If that doesn’t work we can move this thread to the Photoshop forum. Let us know.

What are your exact versions of macOS, Lightroom and Premiere Pro, please. Not "latest" as many problems happen because updates didn't happen.  Also, do you run iCloud?

Ok,

MacOS: 10.14.5

LR Classic: 8.3.1

PS: 20.0.5

PPro: 13.1.3 (build 44)

With LR I noticed it happened a few times at the exact same time, when I hit export in the export module.

I do run iCloud, yes.

Much more important than the hardware is the version of macOS.  By "freezing" do you mean the freeze until you force quit, freeze until you switch off, or freeze for a few seconds/minutes?  What specific apps and versions?

Thanks for your reply! Well, there are times where it freezes for a few seconds/minutes, but there are times that it feels longer or I don't have the time and I force quit. Even then, when force quitting the app, it still freezes sometimes and I have to shut down the computer. So, it seems a bit of everything tbh.

I'm running the latest MacOS and I noticed it on LR, PS and PPro
