Adobe Bridge error

Hi, I am on an iMac and two days ago, during work, Bridge suddenly gave me a message "The operation could not be completed. An unknown operating system error has occurred." I have uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge twice, but it keeps appearing as soon as Bridge opens. Any ideas how to fix this?
