Adobe CC apps quitting shortly after opening

My Adobe CC apps keep quitting after startup. I open Illustrator, or InDesign and about 2 minutes in to working on something, it asks if I want to save changes to my file and quits. The changes are not saved, even if I choose yes. This is very frustrating and has started quite recently (noticed it yesterday after I did my updates). Working on a PC. I uninstalled and reinstalled, tried doing so again and removing the preferences, and it is still not working properly. I have also tried installing a previous version (24.0.1 instead of 24.0.2). Yesterday, I was able to do some work by having Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat all open at the same time. I don't know why that combination worked, but it doesn't appear to work when only two of the three are open.
