Adobe CC - Boot Windows with external drive on reqires new activation

Question

Hi there!I have the following problem detected:I use an external drive connected via E-SATA using it for Data Backup puposes. This drive has nothing to do with Adobe CC.When I boot the system with this drive switched on Adobe CC tells me that I have to enter my Adobe ID credentials and does an additional activation. Next time when I boot with the external drive switched off the same thing happens and new activation is required. This often leads to the problem that this activation is not possible because of the 2 activation maximum.Adobe tells us that we can use CC on 2 computers (not at the same time) but in my case whenever this change with the external drive switched from off to on or vice versa a new activation is required - allways the same computer.Any idea what is going on here?I use Windows 10 64-bit with actual updates, Adobe CC Photo-Abo and Premiere Pro Abo.Thank You in advanceJohannes / Austria / Vienna

Presumably, the activation infos has been saved on the external hard drive.

You should try the following:

Sign off from the cloud and delete the machine in your Adobe account.

Unplug the external hard drive from your computer.

Start the computer

Start Adobe CC and do the activation.
