Adobe CC Cleaner - Licence error

Hello,

I had problems with Adobe Illustrator CS5, so I uninstalled this software from my desktop pc.

Then I used the Adobe CC cleaner tool, to clean up after the installation: Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

However, I did not realise that this would also affect all my other CS5 software i.e. photoshop, fireworks, Indesign etc.

I did not deactivate any CS5 software before uninstalling. Now I cannot open any software, except for InDesign strangely, but when I try to open indesign I get a licence error upon opening this software.

My question is, how do I ensure that I have not lost one of my two licence activation allowances? (I also use my CS5 licence on my laptop when working remotely)

I'm currently reinstalling Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have checked the details and we would request you to try to activate your software and let us know if its not working. We would help you to fix it.

    Thank you for your feedback!

After reinstalling, the licence seems to be working fine.

Strangely, now the Ai icon does not show properly, everything else works fine

I have uninstalled and reinstalled again, and this problem still persists, so not sure what to do here.

Please delete this icon and recreate the shortcut.

You do not lose license activation options, but you do use them and can have them reset as well.  Your license allows you to have two activated installations.  If you choose to you can deactivate (Help -> Deactivate) and reactivate for whatever reason you might have a need to.  If you should lose the ability to deactivate you can contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset all your activations.
