Hi!

I'm a software engineer and photographer. I think that Adobe family is brilliant software and I am just in love with your products.

Adobe was one of first software giants to move to subscriptions and cloud business model - I was among the first Adobe customers who moved from licensed and very expensive (for me those days) boxes of Lightroom and Photoshop to Photographer subscription in Russia... Now I have two paid subscription - Photographer plan for me and full Creative Cloud suite subscription for my daughter - animation artist and also loyal Adobe user.

Adobe's management was so thoughtful that I decided to buy Adobe as stock - ADBE was my first stock in portfolio and I wasn’t mistaken. So as Adobe's stakeholder I'm interested in Adobe’s bright future of Adobe too.

About your recent move as part of the economic war...
Just for your information - the Real war on territory of Ukraine, Donetsk and Lugansk has begun not now, but 8 years ago - it was just not in your information field. Now it has expanded and should be ended as soon as possible. But... I'm not a soldier, politic, analyst or journalist. I'm a software engineer and photographer - I love technology, Adobe products and I do my job. Why am I talking about it?

Because in our Information war ages the only way to know the real situation as citizen of the planet Earth is to get there and talk with real people.
As I took my family and visited Crimea in 2015 - I didn't have any open questions about the situation after having talked to people on the streets.

So...
Dear Adobe's management - do your brilliant job and don't participate in wars. Economic and Information wars. Please.

Or better make a step to the Peace and make Adobe in Russia free until fire is ceased. Or move to a donation strategy... do something different!

It's clear that after the global SWIFT cancellation - payments from Russia isn't channel for you...

I love Github's statement that their service will be available to any programmer in the World - join them with artists!

Those who use Adobe for making fake news anywhere (not the best customers, I believe) can use pirate versions - it's easy, so this move isn't against them but against reason and your loyal community...

Let your customers from anywhere use your software in normal way, make great software and peace.

@Bongiozzo,

As a fellow product user and unpaid forum volunteer, I am not participating in a propaganda controversy over whose news is correct and whose news is not correct except to say it swings in all directions.  I prefer to stick with known facts here:

1. Adobe is a US-based company.  All US-based companies must follow US laws, mandates and government imposed sanctions.

2. Adobe suspends NEW sales in Russia & halts services to Russian government controlled media outlets

https://blog.adobe.com/publish/2022/03/04/adobe-stops-all-new-sales-in-russia

3. Subscription matters, regardless of where you reside, are handled on a case-by-case basis by contacting Adobe Support.

Online Chat: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
Phone M-F, during normal business hours: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

I wish you all the best during this difficult time.

Cutting off russian creatives from adobe products makes no sense. It only leaves designers, photographers and other creatives without their working tools that they have been using not just for years but  for decades, and therefore without jobs.
