Adobe Cloud installer stops at exactly 43% everytime

I had installed adobe creative cloud before, but it stopped working. I tried to reinstall it. It would stop at 43% exactly every time. I tried uninstalling it, but it doesn't uninstall.

I found that some people had the same issue at 42%. I followed suggested resolution, but it didn't work.

Can anyone suggest I should go about this?

if you have an app hanging:

1) Log out of CC

2) Close all CC applications eg Photoshop, Illustrator etc.

3) Reopen CC

4) Begin Download again

if the cc desktop app installer itself is hanging, remove the files from your temp/tmp folder and retry.
