Adobe Creative Cloud crashed Windows 10

I can't find a better place to put this so I'll put it here.
I built a new Intel based computer for my edit suite. I moved the hard drives from the old machine to the new one. At first Adobe Acrobat would load for about 4 seconds and then close. I managed to fix that. I reinstalled Acrobat with Creative Cloud. However, after an extended time idle I get a popup that is titled "Adobe Creative Cloud (Not responding)
The text in the box says:
Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of Creative Cloud from "http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp"
I have removed and reinstalled Creative Cloud. I have followed instructions for completely removing and reinstalling the app as well with no change.
When the dialog box (attached here) appears the computer will crash all running apps and the only resolution is a hard reset. Creative cloud will load and I can install applications with it. You cannot click on the "Quit" or "Repair" buttons as clicking anywhere on that box caused all running apps to stop responding. Acutally even if you DON'T touch that box all apps lock up anyway.
Ideas?
