Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app update freezes at 41%

For several months I've not been able to download apps due to a frozen update on my CC desktop app. I don't want to uninstall the apps I have downloaded because I need them and I'm not at all confident I'll be able to download them again, but I can't uninstall the desktop app without first uninstalling my other apps (PS Bridge, Lr, etc.). Has anyone had a similar experience and resolved it? Thanks in advance!

Jay, do you receive any specific errors when you attempt to update the Creative Cloud desktop app?  What operating system are you using your Creative Cloud membership on?

I don't get error messages. I'm using Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6.

Ok, thanks, Jay.  Please try the steps listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html to remove and reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app.

 

If you continue to encounter additional problems, then please check the log files for the specific error that is preventing the installation from completing. Information on how to interpret the log files can be found at  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-log-files.html.
