Adobe Creative Cloud does not find already installed apps

Question

Hi,

after reinstalling windows 10 on my PC Adobe Creative Cloud (Version 6.2.0.554.2) does not find the applications I had already installed before. I changed the installation path to the directory in which the old applications are but that does not change anything. I can also start the old applications but it seems there is no "link" anymore the Adobe Creative Cloud. I did not find any helpful information yet. Any idea how to fix it?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
