Hey @Shivangi_Gupta

So I did look at that article, and if I'm not wrong I think that's for changing adobe app download locations. I'm trying to change the "adobe creative cloud" app on a external hard dive

again, my post one week ago:  "the cc desktop app has to install on your os drive.  all the apps it installs, can be installed elsewhere."

============

Free up hard disk space on your primary HD.

  1. Uninstall all non-essential apps, games & utilities.
  2. Move work files to external drives.

Without ample disk space on your primary drive, you won't have a good experience with Creative Cloud apps.  Photoshop requires a sizable Scratch Disk in order to use the software.  Without it, you may experience performance & memory errors and be unable to save files.  See screenshot.

Make sure your computer exceeds the minimum requirements to use Creative Cloud apps.

Failing that, you might want to wait until you get a bigger computer.

If you have that little free space on the C drive, you will likely soon experience performance issues if you don't install a larger drive.

I know that but I can't install it on any other drives

if you're having trouble installing the cc desktop app because of limited space on your os drive, you need to delete enough files to make space, get a larger os drive or use a different computer.

the cc desktop app has to install on your os drive.  all the apps it installs, can be installed elsewhere.
