Adobe Creative Cloud installation issues.

I tried to download Adobe Creative Cloud, and when it was about to finish the installation, my computer screen went black and it did now move for about 30 minutes, so i turned off my computer. When i turned it back on it said that the Adobe Creative Cloud was on my desktop as an icon, but would not work when I clicked it. I deleted every trace of Adobe Creative Cloud off of my computer and tried to re-download it, but it always gets to the installation part, and never opens the app or puts it back as an icon on my desktop. I have tried signing in and out of my adobe account with my adobe ID on the website, and have tried to download trials of things from the website and it never opens up the downloads. Please help.
