When trying to install Adobe Creative Cloud, I'm getting this error message:

Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem.  However, it is missing or damaged.  Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from 'http://adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp"

That takes me to the same page where I downloaded CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg.  When I download again, it takes me to the Creative Cloud Installer that has the above error again.

uninstall anything cc that might be installed on your computer.

clean per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

then install the cc desktop app, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial
