Hi there,

We have a few problems with one of our iMacs when it comes to downloading new apps from the creative cloud. We've uninstalled all application that could be uninstalled but have the following problems:

  • We cannot uninstall Camera Raw CC. The cogwheel days 'uninstall unavailable'. I think this is because OSX needs it to use throughout the OS but it's just impossible to delete it. Does anyone have experience with this issue?
  • We cannot uninstall Creative Cloud. It will always say "Couldn't uninstall creative cloud for desktop. Creative Cloud applications installed on your computer require it to function correctly". Maybe this has to do with the first point I addressed.
  • We cannot install any apps. If we press the Install button the installation will start but immediately jump to 99%. After that it will jump back in the list of and the button appears with 'install' instead of appearing in the list with installed applications.

Also with other accounts on the Mac these problems occur.

Hope to hear from you!

apply all the steps that you are able:

uninstall everything cc (lastly cr) including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud. (if you have a win os, right click the exe > click 'run as administrator'.

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
