Adobe Creative Suite 3 language select

Hi.

I have an official UK version of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium. I installed it on my desktop perfectly fine, in English. However, I'm trying to install it onto my laptop and it says language select and the only option is Japanese!

I am using Windows 10 so knew there may be a compatibility issue, but I don't get why the only language option is Japanese.

Is there a reason why it only gives the option of Japanese and is there any way to install it in English?

Thanks.

Correct answer Atul_Saini

I tried the installer. It didn't give me an option for language during installing, it just automatically installed it in Japanese.

Hi Sn0zb0z,

As you have mentioned that you are only able to install the Japanese version of CS 3 on your windows 10 machine, I would request you to download it again from this page: - Download Adobe Creative Suite 3 products in English language and try to install it. You may also check the system requirements. You may also check the steps on how to download install and activate Adobe applications on this link: - How to download, install, and activate Adobe applications.

Hopefully, it should resolve the problem, please feel free to update this discussion in case you need further assistance with this.

Thanks.

Are you using your original CD or did you download?

Download & Install instructions https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003339

-kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2260248 will help

-you will need to enter your original serial number during install for non-Cloud programs

An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10... works for some, not for others

-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

NOTE - Win10 anniversary update version 1607 has caused MAJOR problems with old programs, so the above may not work

Thanks for replying. I'm using the original CD. I entered in the original serial number too.

I had a look to see if I could see anything about running it in compatibility mode or anything like that, but didn't see any options. Not sure if Administrator was an option, will have to check.

I know Windows 10 can cause issues, but I'd expect it to not run at all and say the OS wasn't compatible or something like that. I didn't fully install it so it's possible I'd reach an error later on, but only being able to select to install it in Japanese seems a bit off an odd issue.

I found the options for Run as Administrator and compatibility. It still loads up with the option of Japanese only.

Also, I have the original serial number, but I didn't have to enter it because the first thing that came up was the language select.
