I have Adobe CS4 Design Premium on my computer. I'm trying to upgrade to Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Upgrade. I enter in the cd key for Adobe CS 5.5 Design Premium Upgrade and it worked but it says it cannot find a qualifying product. I tell the installer that I have CS4 and entered in the CD key for that. But it reported that CS4 is not a qualifying product. I called adobe and they told me to go to adobe chat. I chatted with a expert and she said they don't support Adobe CS 5.5 Design Premium Upgrade and to go check the forums.

As far as I know, the only reason that I know of that an equal upgrade product will not accept an earlier serial number is if the earlier version was an Education purchase... since Education software is already discounted, it does not qualify to be upgraded at a discount... but that is from an old discussion, so I may be wrong
