Adobe Creative Suite CS3 on Windows 10

I had the good fortune to be able to purchase the CS3 version while teaching at NYU, however, as a student/faculty edition it is not upgradable and as a disabled artist I can not really afford to buy a new edition. It worked well with my desktop and XP but not so well with a laptop and Windows 7. I now have a laptop with Windows 10 and I'm wondering if it is even worth trying to install. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it since I have a half written book on painting techniques that I put together with InDesign and it looked great. Would love to finish it but not at the expense of losing InDesign's great layouts. Looking forward to any suggestions.

    Probably not going to work... but here are Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

    -RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

    -or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

    After reflection and discovering another post with additional information I would like to ask the following 2 questions:  1.  If I were to register for the cloud version of the Creative Suite how would I then be able to upload the files containing the work already done using InDesign and PhotoShop CS3?? At that point I would then be able to see whether I want to continue using PhotoShop & InDesign or even consider the possibility of creating PDF's and simplifying the entire process. At that point my options are wide open. The addition of videos expands my appeal and will make for many new marketing approaches as well as those that are educationally oriented.

    1 - you need to ask in the specific program forums to find out if the CC version of the program is able to open a file created in CS3 - Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome

    2 - all I know is that starting your computer with an Admin account is not the same to Windows as the "run as" command - to find out why, you need to search at Microsoft – Official Home Page
