Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Production Premium : Repetitive Error 6 After Multiple Uninstalls/ Reinstalls on the G drive

I have tried to install the suite multiple times on the G drive and only one of the programs will run. The suite successfully installed everytime, and uninstalled and deactivated each time (through the uninstall menu) however I kept getting the error 6 when I tried to run most of the programs.

The main programs I use and care the most about getting to work (even though since it's a suite I'd really like all of them to run properly)

After Effects CS5.5

Premiere Pro CS5.5

Photoshop 64 bit * the other version Photoshop that came on the disc(I believe either the CS5.1 version or the 32 bit version?) WOULD run (both were the extended version)

As far as I understood it, it should be possible to install these on a different drive. I do not want to put these on my C drive, and I have found online that some of the files will still have to be installed on the C drive which is fine as long as I don't have to put the whole 14gb suite on it.

This suite ran fine on my old computer and there are no obvious reasons I can find to explain why it won't install, and yes I do have a 64-bit computer so that is not the issue.

I can install it on the C drive, which has 34gb free, however I would really prefer not too and I know that I should not have to install it on the C drive.

Any ideas or links to something I might have missed would be very helpful and appreciated.

Sincerely,
Daniel

You've posted in the right place. Here's a good place to start:

Based on your description that sound like the issue you're having.
