I have Adobe Creative Suite Premium 1.1. It installed perfect but it won't allow me to activate it. I saw a link where you have to uninstall then download from adobe but it was for CS2. I saw nothing for CS Premium 1.1. Can anyone help me with this?
The CS2 instructions also apply to CS1 and CS1.1 owners.
In short, Adobe decommissioned the CS2 (and earlier) activation server a couple of years ago. So when your software tries to contact the Adobe activation server, no-one's listening because there's nothing there any more. The line is dead never to return.
Thus Adobe has offered a non-activation version of CS2 for people in your position to continue using your software.
Forget about your CS1.1 and forget about your serial number. Neither will work any more.
Use the non-activation CS2 and the new CS2 serial number provided by Adobe.
