Adobe Creative Suites 5

I purchased Adobe Creative Suites 5 some years ago, and paid around $500 for it. It was for a class at Cincinnati State, student/teacher version. I was/am an older student, the class was too difficult for me and I dropped it. I never used the program at all....I have seen some of these for sale online, and have contacted Adobe to see if I can sell this? I don't know if my son ever downloaded this on my old laptop or not, and he passed 2 years ago, so I can't ask now. Regardless, I never used this very expensive program and would like to sell it to someone who still can. I have the serial number, which is registered to me according to Adobe. If I sell it, could someone else download this and use it? I don't want to sell something they cannot use...Thank you for any info you can give me. Adobe said they do not support this program any longer and advised me to come here? I do have at least 2 people interested in purchasing this from me.
