I just recently purchased a new laptop with Windows 10.  I installed my CS5 from CDs and it works perfectly.  However, now the system says there are updates and it downloads them perfectly, then I receive this error message for each one:

  • Adobe Bridge CS5 4.0.5 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

  •   Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

  •   Adobe Illustrator CS5 15.0.2 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

  •   Adobe® InDesign® CS5 7.0.4 update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

  •   Photoshop 12.0.4 update for Photoshop CS5
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

  •   Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.

I have done this a couple of times with the same result.  What is the problem and what is the solution?  Thank you!!!

Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

    Try installing your updates manually

Updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
