Adobe CS6 activation limit reached — cannot activate my valid perpetual license on a new computer
Hello,
I have a valid perpetual license for Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS6), purchased legally.
I am trying to install and activate it on my current workstation, but activation fails because the activation limit has been reached. Adobe Support confirmed that the serial number itself is valid and that the issue is the activation limit.
The problem is that the previous activated computer(s) are no longer available for a simple Help → Deactivate procedure. The old installation still exists, but accessing it would require restoring old hardware, which is not currently practical.
Adobe Support informed me that they no longer provide remote activation resets for legacy CS6 products and that the activated devices cannot be managed through my Adobe account.
Has anyone encountered this situation with CS6? Is there any known way to release an old activation or restore the ability to activate a legitimately purchased CS6 license on a new computer?
Thank you for any advice.
