I purchase a ADOBE CS6 MC FOR MAC on the internet and went to collect the item,

A BURNT DVD WITH NO LABEL.

The advert showed the ADOBE BOX with DVD''s.

What is the difference between:

SERIAL NUMBER FOR RETAIL PRODUCT (VENDOR TO AND INDIVIDUAL)

SERIAL NUMBER FOR VOLUME LICENCE AGREEMENT (APPLICATION TO BUSINESSES)

So the vendor sold me a SERIAL NUMBER FOR VOLUME LICENCE AGREEMENT.

How do i solve this problem?

Clearly these are pirates. I hope you did not give them a credit card. Their web sites and fake products can be very convincing.

It is not permitted to buy or sell a volume license number to you unless you are the volume license holder. That will be software piracy and Adobe WILL BLOCK YOUR SOFTWARE. CS6 is no longer sold by Adobe, not for many years. CS6 is a very bad choice of purchase because only pirates are selling it and you will lose your money. The pirate software is also likely to have viruses to steal from you.

Deal with the vendor and get your money back if that is what you want.  Adobe has no part in this.
