Adobe CS6 problems after downloading

I have tried multiple times downloading CS6 on my MacBook Pro. I am having issues after downloading. I click install and a screen pops up saying Insaller failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. Once I click on the link to get Adobe Support Advisor it says the link has been discontinued.

I have tried: Downloading it from different web browsers and using the cleaner tool. Neither worked.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Which operating system?

Mac Sierra problems https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2211696

Premiere Pro and Sierra https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2211815

https://blog.conradchavez.com/2016/06/16/macos-10-12-sierra-will-adobe-software-work/

For Mac El Capitan or the newer Sierra operating system read below

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

-Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

Go back to my reply #1 and read the links I posted... bottom line is if you want to use 4 year old software you need to use an old operating system
