Adobe Customer Support Portal Link doesn't work (for the Student Edition order fulfillment form): Site Area Temporarily Unavailable

As mentioned above the Adobe Customer Support Portal Link doesn't work (for the Student Edition order fulfillment form).


After goingt to: www.adobe.com/go/eduverify and clicking on the Adobe Customer Support Portal Link a page appears saying: "Adobe's Customer Support Portal is undergoing a system update in order to implement major system enhancements, and will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 3pm Pacific Daylight Time on Friday, October 9th"

Today is August 10th!? Site is down for over a year now!?

Please help me, I just want to register my Student Edition Lightroom 5 and get the serial number.

    MattJimbo we had a planned maintenance period this weekend.  This affected the availability of some services.  My apologies for the inconvenience.

    The above mentioned site is up again.

    I suggest the assumption that the site is only working on weekdays!?
