Adobe DNG converter

Question

I have downloaded Adobe DNG 12.2 converter to my Windows 10 laptop, downloading successfully, and it installs, but will not open. I have recently installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 onto my laptop.

Before this fresh copy was installed, I had used DNG converter without problems ( A download of Adobe DNG converter V 10.2.0.894 downloaded, installed, and opened without problem. ). Any ideas for running the DNG converter?
