I have tried everything in the troubleshooting area about this error. I've cleared my cookies, deleted files in the local store folder, re-downloaded, tried downloading in a different browser, and everything. I am STILL getting this error message. I'm attempting to download Fireworks and Dreamweaver to my pc laptop. What am I doing wrong??

I'd suggest that you try the customer support page to get in touch with customer support directly (http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/contact.html). You have the options to call, request for a callback, or chat with a customer support person.

Well it's saturday and all chat agents are unavailable,so no customer service for me. Does anybody have a solution to this issue besides those troubleshooting tips that don't work???

Bsh3b error 100 indicates that the Adobe Download Assistant is having difficulty communicating with Adobe to download the software.  Beyond solution 1 listed in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant you might also want to see if you have a software firewall installed.  If you do then I would ensure that the firewall software is allowing the Adobe Download Assistant to access the Internet successfully.
